SALES FUNDAMENTALS:
- Listen – this helps you identify and learn what’s important to your customer.
- Body language – lean forward if seated, make eye contact, nod your head in agreement while your customer talks. Without being obvious, imitate your customer’s body language – they will unconsciously recognize you as being ‘just like them’.
- Take notes – People feel you are taking their needs seriously when you write them down. Plus your notes can help you pose questions to fine tune the exact needs of your customer, as well as helping you make sure you get the exact right item that they need.
Thank you so much Jerry for your kind words as well as your friendship and support during this difficult time.
HEY EVERYBODY!!! Have you heard that Kim is a victim of the recent flooding in Texas? She is not hurt physically but her home is a disaster. She told me that she was in her “safe room” praying for a tornado instead when the water rose. Now that’s pretty messed up; when you would rather have a tornado. I spoke to her this afternoon as she was hauling some of her house to the dump. Friends have been helping tear out walls, flooring, furniture, etc, etc, etc. Thought y’all might like to know so we can talk to Father about her. She can probably use all the help she can get.
Thanks for the great reminders. We will look forward to reading this series. Keeps us focused on the more important things.
Great job, Kim. This is exactly the sort of thing that we need…little pointers that remind us how we can be successful. I appreciate your work on this. Keep up the good work.
