Sad News

It is with great sadness that we share this news.  Many of you have known Tom Zack for well over 40 years as one of the original Trim-Line starters.  After many successful years with Trim-Line, we as a group became Auto Trim Design and then went on to become a part of Restylers International.  Tom was one of the Restylers International Owners for several years before making the decision to return to strictly running his Auto Trim business.  He has passed away after years of health issues and a recent illness.  There will be a funeral service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Memphis, TN.  For those who wish to send flowers:  3565 Kimball Ave.  Memphis, TN  38111  Zoom services will be provided for all of his many friends and co-workers, vendors, dealers and others who would like to pay their respect to him.  These services will be held Saturday, December 10th, 2022 at 3 PM CST with a video presentation to start the discourse.  Here is the Zoom Login Code:  901 758 3883  Password:  TomZack

As I think of men like Tom, who’ve died faithful to Jehovah, I can’t help but imagine a time in the near future, because of Jesus’ faithful course as a perfect man here on earth, despite being tempted in every respect as a man, yet without giving in to that temptation and then offering up his perfect human life, and having his offering accepted by Jehovah, all of a sudden, out of the blue, Tom will walk up to me or a group of us and we talk and joke and we enjoy each other’s company, and we spend time together, not worrying about cutting short our visit, because we have plenty of time to get to know one another better and enjoy our Creator’s works. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Then I think of one my favorite verses from God’s word, the Bible and I REALLY get excited: Ephesians 3:20 says “Now to the one who can, according to his power that is operating in us, do more than superabundantly beyond all the things we ask or conceive…….”

Let that sink in! Then times like these are a little easier to deal with.

My sincere condolences go out to Tom’s friends and family!

Tom inspired me when I first became “Trim-Liner” in 1983. I learned from him that it’s possible to be balanced between work and “the more important things”. It will certainly be interesting to get together again in the future!
My heartfelt condolences go to his family and close friends.

On behalf of Don & Alma Elliott, Sonya & Kevin Elliott, and Kim Redden, from Auto Trim of Waco, Texas, we were so sorry to hear about Tom’s death. He was a true friend, an excellent businessman, and a loyal brother. He always had a smile for you and a quick wit, and it will be missed, but only for a little while. May we all strive to be the same kind hearted and loving person that he was.

Sure hate to hear the sad news. Lots of good memories of Tom. Got to know him well in the old “Key Distributor” days. We always had good times and lots of laughs together. Ironically, I had not talked to him since I moved to Tennessee four years ago. Look forward to seeing Tom again.

Always a smile, a kind face, a warm heart, an attentive ear. He sure helped me during a dark difficult time. It was not as much about what he said as it was allowing me to say what I needed to hear. Tom had a lot of great friends because he was a Great Friend.

Our condolences to the family. Tom was one of the GOOD GUYS. Always having something funny to say. I remember at a dinner we sat together and he kept leaning over and telling me what fork to use.
We look forward to welcoming him back in the resurrection.
