From Kims Desk with LogoThis is the second installment in a new series from Restylers International.  In this “Sales Tips” series, we will post short articles on how to make the sale, how to keep the customer, how to be professional, etc.

Many you will already know.  But it is always good to review from time to time our sales techniques.  After all, that is what keeps us in business!!

Here is the second installment of “Sales Tips – Making the Sale”.

SALES FUNDAMENTALS:

A couple of tips to add credibility to what you say and do:

  • Honesty is the best policy.  Be sure you can deliver what you promise.  It is better to let your customer know at the outset if you are not able to provide a product or service.
  • Think positive!  Be able to provide the benefits of doing business with your company without taking pot shots at others.  For example, testimonials from repeat customers.

Our goal is to build lasting, value-based relationships with our customers.

Thank you for the reminder not to over-promise. I have a tendency to do that. It’s much better to under-promise and over-deliver.
